Note: Egyptian trains are designed and maintained according to standards of quality determined by the Egyptian Railway Authority. The sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan takes about 14 hours, and the journey from Luxor to Cairo takes about 11 hours. To reduce time spent traveling, you can upgrade your trip package for about $295 per person to travel by domestic flight instead (about 1.5 hours).

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo - Welcome to the Land of the Pharaohs Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, your tour manager will be there to assist you through the arrival procedures. You'll then be escorted to your hotel in Cairo in a comfortable deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, your tour manager will ensure a smooth check-in process and go over your vacation itinerary with you to confirm pick-up times for each tour.
Overnight in Cairo. Welcome drink included.
Day 2: Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing - Train to Aswan Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Your personal tour guide will accompany you to the Giza Plateau to explore one of the ancient world wonders: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, as well as the iconic Sphinx and Valley Temple. Next, visit the Egyptian Museum to marvel at its impressive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. If time permits, explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s oldest bazaar. Later, you'll be transferred to the Giza train station to catch the sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner and breakfast will be provided on board.

Day 3: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours Upon arrival at the Aswan train station, a representative from Memphis Tours will meet you and transfer you to your Nile cruise ship. Enjoy lunch on board before heading out to visit the magnificent Philae Temple dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor, as well as the colossal Unfinished Obelisk. Return to the cruise ship for dinner.

Day 4: Kom Ombo After breakfast on board, sail to Kom Ombo to explore the twin Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus. Enjoy lunch back on the ship before sailing to Edfu, where dinner will be served on board.

Later, head to the Luxor train station to catch the sleeper train back to Cairo. Dinner will be served on board the train.
