Itinerary

  • Welcome to Egypt! Meet and assist at Cairo International Airport, followed by transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay in Cairo.

  • Visit the Giza Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara. Explore Memphis, Egypt’s ancient capital. Transfer back to hotel.

  • Tour the Grand Egyptian Museum, visit the Citadel of Saladin, and end the day shopping in the historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

  • Drive to Alexandria to visit Pompey's Pillar, the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Qaitbay Citadel, and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Return to Cairo.

  • Fly to Luxor. Visit the majestic Karnak Temple complex and the illuminated Luxor Temple on the East Bank. Check in at hotel.

  • Drive north to visit the temple of Seti I at Abydos and the beautifully preserved Hathor Temple at Dendera. Return to Luxor.

  • Explore the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.

  • Travel south to Aswan, stopping along the way to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu and the unique dual Temple of Sobek & Horus in Kom Ombo.

  • Early morning visit to the magnificent Abu Simbel temples carved into the mountain. Return to Aswan for free afternoon/leisure.

  • Visit the Aswan High Dam and the romantic Philae Temple on Agilkia Island. Enjoy a Felucca ride on the Nile, then transfer to Aswan Airport for flight back to Cairo.
